We proudly support the following charities:
Kiva
After supporting Kiva for seven years, we are proud to say we have surpassed $100,000 in loans, and have helped people from 62 countries. This non-profit organization empowers individuals in developing countries to lift themselves out of poverty through small loans. When our loans are re-paid, we re-loan the funds, ensuring we are able to continuously help a wide variety of people across the globe.
Movember
Each November, the studio support Movember, where our guys commit to growing a moustache for 30 days. They start out clean-shaven on November 1st, and for the duration, their moustaches become the symbol for men’s health, raising awareness and for men’s cancers. Meanwhile, the studio is busy creating fun fund-raising events for our staff members, with all donations directly benefitting Movember.
Child's Play
Child’s Play is a community-based charity, which began operating in 2003. The charity manages donations of toys, games, books and cash for sick kids in hospitals across North America, and UFG has been a supporter since 2010. Each December, UFG staff members make cash donations, with the studio matching the sum contributed. The money is then used to purchase gifts for BC Children’s Hospital, for Victoria General Hospital and is also directly donated to Child’s Play.
