Localization Project Manager

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the successful localization of game assets into multiple European languages.  This involves working with multiple localization vendors to ensure that assets are delivered and integrated into the game on time. He/she will track localizable assets (voice recordings, and text); identifying risks; and identifying scheduling conflicts. The candidate will exhibit and facilitate strong communication and resolve dependency problems.


  • Work with vendors to ensure quality implementation and strict adherence to timeline  for delivery of assets
  • Assemble and verify localization assets for integration into the game
  • Track/manage translation projects to successful completion; work with external translation vendors and monitor their progress; issues and risks to project stakeholder and maintain project documentation
  • Develop, deploy, and manage a clear, concise, and flexible localization plan
  • Provide timely analysis of project status to enable the team to respond to project risks early
  • Communicate localization requirements and dependencies to Production and QA



  • Proven project management skills in the Translation/Localization industry,
  • 1+ Years of prior experience in the Games industry, or relevant localization experience in the entertainment or software industry
  • Strong familiarity with game software development processes,  scheduling, and project management principles
  • Knowledge of current generation console games (X360, PS3)
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office applications, specifically MS Excel
  • A balance of technical and creative competence, as well as a customer service approach to communication
  • Highly organized, professional, and efficient temperament with outstanding attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with persons of diverse backgrounds and experience
  • Strong writing and communication skills

Desired Skills:

  • Fluency in 2 or more European. Fluency in written and spoken Cantonese is a plus.
  • Experience with Hansoft, Jira or comparative scheduling software
  • Familiarity with Translation/ Localization Tools
  • Experience with Game submission process for all platforms is desirable
  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline (Languages, Project Management, HID, Computer Science)
