Rendering Programmer

We are seeking a highly motivated and self-starting individual to work on video game graphic, tools and rendering systems for our next-generation console products. You will work closely with the content teams to improve workflows, identify pipeline issues and build content creation and manipulation tools. You have experience creating Maya scripts and plugins.  Knowledge of shaders, distributed workflows and build systems will serve you well.


  • Work with the rendering engineers to develop and improve our proprietary rendering engine
  • Work with the technical artists to create content pipelines and design artist workflows for content creation
  • Work with artists to understand ways to improve their efficiency
  • Work closely with the game designers and software engineers to implement game specific features
  • Optimize and simplify the flow of data into the game
  • Develop pipelines for production
  • Manage internal/external tools/pipeline bugs via bug tracking software
  • Train people on the tools and pipelines


  • Experience developing large scale content pipelines
  • Minimum 3 years as software engineer in the game industry or shipped at least 1 title
  • PS3, X-Box 360 or equivalent experience is required
  • Excellent C++ and OOP skills required
  • Strong mathematics will be an asset
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • BS in CS or EE or equivalent professional experience
