Established in 2007, we are one of Vancouver’s largest, independent video game studios
We strive to challenge ourselves and our industry every day, by making great games and crafting rewarding experiences
A Dynamic Community
We are an award-winning, independent studio, staffed with enthusiastic, well-respected individuals, who also happen to love having fun
Gorgeous Vancouver, BC is the backdrop for our culturally diverse studio, filled with video game-loving, yoga-doing, record-spinning, ski-bunny-ing types from all over the world
We proudly support the following charities:
Kiva is a non-profit organization that connects donors to entrepreneurs in developing countries, empowering individuals to lift themselves out of poverty. At UFG, cash donations are collected throughout the year, and then made available to Kiva’s entrepreneurs. Once the loans are re-paid, UFG re-loans these funds over and over, so we have a growing sum that continuously helps a wide variety of people.
The "Mo" - slang for "moustache" and "November" - come together each year for Movember. Movember challenges men to change their appearance and the face of men’s health by growing a moustache. The rules are simple: start November 1st clean-shaven and then grow a moustache for the entire month. The moustache becomes the ribbon for men’s health, the means by which awareness and funds are raised for prostate cancer. Much like the commitment to run or walk for charity, the men of Movember commit to growing a moustache for 30 days.
Child’s Play is a community-based charity, which began operating in 2003. The charity manages donations of toys, games, books and cash for sick kids in hospitals across North America, and UFG has been a supporter since 2010. Each December, UFG staff members make cash donations, with the studio matching the sum contributed. The money is then used to purchase gifts for BC Children’s Hospital, for Victoria General Hospital and is also directly donated to Child’s Play.
